A huge part of the Miami youth has some sort of Latin background, which means despite all the boom boom and indie rock there must be a place left in our hearts for Chucu Chucu. With that said, it’s nice to see folkloric latin music mixed with bass, dub, and a 4/4 dance beat. The Peronists are on the front of the electronic cumbia wave.
Audio Visuar art proyect wich uses electronic and electroacustic media for the production of a new sound call “Nu Cumbia” or Digital Cumbia.
The Sounds material comes from folk riddims traveling from isolationism to the cumbia making minimalistic sections with tech and polyrythmic and many other elements, making a unmistakable sonority.
