A few months ago I heard one of the Ultra Music Festival organizers comment that European festivals were way ahead of the curve as far as production value and organization. Having studied festival production/ live entertainment management for the last few years and working in concert production compelled me to check out the differences for myself. Bearlliards?

The 2 Bears is made up of Joe Goddard (of Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell, a London based DJ, promoter, radio host and artist manager (busy guy).  Brought together by a mutual love of House music, they began work on their first EP Follow the Bears, released on Southern Fried Records in April. Apparently influenced by the likes of ‘Yogi Bear’, ‘Paddington Bear’, ‘Grizzly Bear’, ‘The Bear Witch Project’, and ‘Bearak Obama’, we can only expect a tongue-in-cheek approach to their dance floor bangers.

Despite getting love from Annie Mac, Rob da Bank, Gilles Peterson and Toddla T, this project has stayed relatively under the radar despite being released over a month ago. Check out the 2 Bears own weekly radio show ‘Follow The Bears’ on Ministry Of Sound Radio.
