Scaramouche

Scaramouche used to be a popular disco club inside the Omni mall from the mid 70s to mid 80s. Lots of local characters ran the place and according to people’s testimonials some great acts and notable DJs passed through there. “Celebs galore sat at our marble chalice, my favorite was Mohamed Ali…OJ of Course! This was an era of open everything… drugs, sex and dISCO -Oh well somebody had to do it.” Miami nightlife has come a long way… or has it?

The spirit of SCARAMOUCHE returns tonight (and every post-Art Walk) at Villa 221 (Just 2 blocks from the old location) and we’re bringing in Miami’s disco connoisseurs to curate the music. It’s also Wynwood Radio’s official launch party and the Pirate Video Project crew will be showing off their “Nightdrive exclusive” projection mapping piece – yes that’s right custom made for our party tonight.
