It’s a bit awesome that Chris Malinchak is starting to really explore neighboring genres and and technical styles. “If U Got It” which has recently been released on the US label French Express is a keen soulful and delightfully layered track. I am personally a sucker for these kinds of subtle yet haunting grooves that may seem sort of soft and kind at first listen, but ultimately harbor darker undertones. Listen up, I promise you will find nuances every try.
