Get excited, this Madrileño is going to knock your sox off during WMC. I saw him play at Sonar Barcelona last summer alongside John Talabot and it was one of the most amazing live performances I’ve ever witnessed. The good news is that they’ll both be playing Safe & Nightdrive related parties next week. Pional and Talabot will be blessing the Out of The Blue Dayvent on Saturday March 23rd @ Villa 221. Talabot will be there alongside Four Tet, Midland, One Man, and South London Ordnance. As you may or may not know, our lovely Laura (of Miami), Mr. PatrickWalsh and Nicolette Neves have been busy bees this past week, offering up their disk jockeying skills in homage to the annual winter Bacchanalia known as Art Basel. Nightdrive and our allies set up base camp over at the Wynwood Walls this week, which according to inside sources was pretty rad with killer DJ sets from the Nightdrive team and even break dance battle during Mr. Brown’s set. We’re loving the general enthusiasm for the Azari & III show tomorrow night at Grand Central. It’s been something we’ve been working on for years and can’t wait to share with you guys. We’ve also added local act Kurtz & Bomber and our own Laura of Miami to the bill. Yesterday Grand Central had a Facebook ticket give away and people were saying things like:
“I haven’t heard this type of feel good music in a long time. Their rhythm is sick and I’ve been a fan for whileeeeee!”
