I’ve learned a thing or two about marble in the last couple of years and have been fascinated with the veins and color patterns found in natural stone. There’s a not that much of a parallel between my recent mixes and their marble references other than nature’s careful calculations and those of my song selection, progression, and phrasing. There also might be a aesthetic connection between the physical patterns and audio wave forms.
