Blacks&

Coming from the lovely Los Angeles California is a rather special group. I say special because they are the first band that has so vividly reminded me of those awesome times when I wake up in the morning after a hard night of drinking with friends and discover wildly inappropriate things written all over my face with a sharpie. The group known as Blacks& combines smooth island vocals with catchy tunes and body moving island pop beats that will take you on the road to good times. The group which is comprised of Jutty (vox/guitar), Donald (bass/vox), Tiger (guitar/vox), Jules (drums) and Walker (Keys) started out as many great acts do; by being involved with previous projects and over time, refining themselves into the group they are now.

A bottle of whiskey and a night of chilled collaboration with spot on vocals on take one and their first track, “What They Think” was born. Look for a bunch of new songs from Blacks& in the near future which will showcase some versatility that they have yet to unleash on the masses. I invite you to sit down, crack open and adult beverage, and give em a listen. If you walk in and find your friends passed out after listening, remember to bring your sharpie along….
