Disco Llama
Once in a while I’ll get an email from the Disco Llama guys up in New York promoting their latest EP. They’re always very generous about giving their edits away, which equates to points in my cool-factor book. The tracks are often disco bangers (if that’s a term) and they range from something you would hear at Segafredo on Lincoln Rd to a track Shazam wouldn’t recognize. Hailing from NYC, Disco Llama is a collaboration between DJ’s Anubus and Mike Device. The longtime friends started out out in the world of hip hop (Anubus is a DMC World Finalist), and branched out to embrace many styles over the past decade as they’ve been performing on their own. Now, as a team, they weave together the best Disco and House with a hefty sprinkling of their own production.
