The Australian music scene is starting to remind me of Jamaica in the 1960s. Everyone seems to know each other, play together, be on the same label, or is somehow related. Enter Sidwho? bass player for Empire of The Sun (when on tour), key member of “The Swiss” (disco band), and part of The Walls Have Ears (Cage & Aviary’s label). The guy is a musical mastermind and his disco productions sound as authentic as a mid 80s scrunchie. His newer releases are off Future Classic and his latest colabs include remixes by The Juan MacLean, Jamie Paton, and Azari & III.
