Label mate to local music maker Panic Bomber and Toronto resident Jeremy Glenn (YYZ Records) is a singer, songwriter, producer and engineer. He’s been making waves lately with his funk productions catching the eye of Stones Throw’s Dam-Funk, who included Jeremy’s track “Turn Our Backs” on his mix for BBC Radio 1. Lately, Jeremy’s immense background in soul/disco and funk has seen him share the DJ booth with the likes of Aeroplane, Floating Points, and DFA’s James Murphy & Pat Mahoney.
With his debut album due out this fall and his side project The Makeover tearing up dance floors, Jeremy Glenn will surely be a name to watch in 2011. Check out this summer mix Jeremy put together for a warm summer’s night. Funk on.
